|Hilly and wooded. The is a good assortment of hole layouts with short precision shots that intermingle with longer open drive holes. Pro pads are on most holes and alternate basket placements on several. Signage and intuitive paths make the course easy to navigate. The course requires a variety of shots with most holes being considered short and tight, or “lucky” flight paths. Constructed in 2003, Veterans is Tupelo’s first course and remains a favorite of many a player.|
From Hwy 78 go south on Veterans Blvd, turn left into park just before the lake (street lined with flags). Or from Hwy 45 go east on Main St, turn left on Veterans Blvd, turn right into park just past the lake. Look for the American flags on both sides of the road. Then follow the drive around to the parking lot near a pavilion, restrooms, playground, and old farm silo. Hole 1 begins next to restrooms.
The Veterans course hosts several events each year. Notable tournaments include the TGDA Bag Tags Challenge in January and the Elvis Fling with the King in June. Scheduled weekly minis are offered throughout the year and the course normally hosts several other events such as Ice Bowls, 2-Disc promotions, and charity events.

Vets is my favorite course in Tupelo. Not being competitive and merely seeking disc golf enjoyment. the Veterans course is challenging enough to throw a bit question mark into any round, but friendly enough to allow players to string together enough terrific shots for one of those good rounds that keeps ya stivin' for more! Elevation, length, precision, left to right, right to left .... Vets has em' all! No hole is so difficult that one can't master it and. really, no hole is a guaranteed birdie each and every time!
Navigation, signage, and tee pads are more than sufficient.
